Privacy Policy

1. Private data we receive and collect

BIKE Finance automatically collects and receives certain information from your computer or mobile device, including the activities you perform on our Website, the Platforms, and the Applications, the type of hardware and software you are using (for example, your operating system or browser), and information obtained.

1.1. For example each time you visit the website

For example, each time you visit the Website or otherwise use the Services, we automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, access times, the web page from which you came, the regions from which you navigate the web page, and the web page(s) you access (as applicable). There is more to this section and we want.

2. Cookies

Like many websites, we use cookies to help us provide you with the best possible web experience. Cookies are small text files which a website may put on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a site or page. The cookie will help the website, or another website, to recognise your device the next time you visit. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way. There are many functions cookies serve. For example, they can help us to remember your username and preferences, analyse how well the website is performing, or even allow us to recommend content we believe will be most relevant to you. Certain cookies contain personal information – for example, if you click to “remember me” when logging in, a cookie will store your username. Most cookies will not collect information that identifies you, but will instead collect more general information such as how users arrive at and use the website. Generally, our cookies perform up to four different functions:

2.1. Essential cookies

Some cookies are essential for the operation of the website. If you opt to disable these cookies, you will not be able to access or use all of the features that the website incorporates.

2.2. Performance cookies

We use other cookies to help us understand how our visitors use the website, and help us monitor and improve performance. For example, we might use performance cookies to keep track of which pages are most popular or figure out why some pages are displaying error messages.

2.3. Functionality cookies

We use functionality cookies to allow us to remember your preferences. For example, cookies save you the trouble of typing in your username every time you use the website, and recall your customisation preferences such as geographical location.

2.4. Targeting cookies

These cookies record your visit to our website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed, in order to make advertising relevant to you and your interests. They remember the websites you have visited and that information is shared with other parties such as advertisers. For example we use 3rd party companies such as Google ad-words to provide you with more personalised adverts when visiting other websites.

Third parties

We do use or allow third parties to serve cookies that fall into the four categories above. For example, like many companies, we use google analytics to help us monitor our traffic. We may also use third party cookies to help us with market research, revenue tracking, improving site functionality and monitoring compliance with our terms and conditions. We sometimes advertise on third party websites, and we may allow our trusted advertising partners to place targeting cookies so that we can provide more interesting content.
